The tour begins with the walk in the tropical jungle; you will walk across small suspension bridges through primary forest as you hike through the mountains. The hike will take you to the top of the mountain where you will see an amazing waterfall view.
Continuing the hike through the trails, you will reach the section of the Canopy Bridge system.
This system consists of suspension bridges, built to US engineering standards. The 3 sections total 250 meters, from platforms connected to huge hardwood trees to create the most impressive Canopy Walk in Costa Rica. The design allows for minimal impact on the forest, giving our participants the opportunity to explore the majesty of the forest canopy from a bird's eye view.
As we continue the walk in the jungle, you will find the beautiful virgin river of the reserve. Easy-to-follow handrails and trails along with viewing platforms allow you to view waterfalls and capture with photos the rich biodiversity this unique site has to offer.
Near the end of the hike, an impeccable cascading pool will invite you to enjoy a refreshing dip.
